MonicaArts Design is an independent, multi-disciplinary design studio which has been creating beautifully designed solutions for diverse clientele for over 30 years. Principal Designer & Founder, Monica Monaghan-Milstein has created a multitude of designs, spanning a broad spectrum of disciplines & design applications — including custom-designed woven & printed textiles for commercial & residential interiors, custom-designed furniture, custom designed interior architectural details, custom designed textiles for production fashion apparel, custom jewelry design, custom design for exclusive line of gift papers, art direction & design of printed & digital catalogues and web design. MonicaArts Design continues to enjoy designing for a diverse spectrum of clients and end-use applications.
As an artist, designer, and color specialist, Monica’s work reflects her rich artistic, visual and aesthetic foundation. Monica’s decision to practice applied arts & design inclusive of many disciplines is a deeply informed response and homage to her creative lineage & roots. Her professional education includes Fine Arts, Textile Design, Interior Design, and advanced Color Theory.
MonicaArts Design is drawn to professional collaborative projects and processes, which remain broad in spectrum and application. Early in 2021, MonicaArts Design enjoyed exploring letterpress printing collaboration with Neu Haus Press for the creation of the MonicaArts Design Bauhaus Design Series, and more recently collaborating with longtime design colleague and respected designer Juan Poggi, of Poggi Design, to create custom textiles and art prints for his exclusive projects.
